We have a real problem with "Solid Membrane" Decks.  When they start to fail, you don't know it until it's too late and real damage has been done....or they're just UGLY.  It should be mentioned that working on log cabins is hard because nothing is square, level or conventionally built.

We replace this beautiful log cabin's wrap-around Solid Membrane Deck with New Framing and TimberTech Advanced PVC in Vintage Mahogany with DrySpace under-deck drainage.  The Rails were re-installed.  We added a few extras like a "Bridge" that won't float away to a small island.
